Every month for the last decade, a small group of people have been making a difference for people who are connecting to many, many more.

Awesome Foundation Adelaide has now donated more than $100,000 to people doing awesome things in our community. This is 10 people chipping in $100 of their own money to give to others – no strings attached.

A sample of the awesome work funded in 2024

So far this year, projects we have funded include:
– free music-making workshops for older people (pictured)
– a second-hand furniture donation service for people in need
– felt-making workshops for women who’ve been incarcerated
– Australia’s first accessible baseball ‘Miracle League’ pilot
– inclusive, fun drama classes for children in a country town
– lots of cups of coffee for a special ‘jobs cafe’ for people seeking work.

We *love* giving our money away to awesome people doing awesome things, at least $1000 each month. But we need you to do something awesome for us: we need you to spread the word about what we do and encourage your friends, family (we love applications from youngsters) and colleagues to apply for a monthly ‘grant’.
